TERRENCE ROBLE General I bet is was once served by rail. 6/26/2013 8:29:10 PM
Butch Page General This is looking North on the old Georgia & Florida RR. The Wadley Southern crossed right about where the front of that pickup is. This was controlled by a gate that each railroad used to move across. This oil company was served by both railroads. In the distance, there was a switch on the G & F so cars were moved behind the office building and spotted either for the oil company or for a warehouse that was located there but is now gone. The WS had unloading lines on the right near the concrete wall you see where tank cars were also unloaded. 50+ years ago I watched them unload gasoline from tanks cars here. 9/29/2013 6:56:41 PM
