Dave Curtis General Is this bridge still standing? 9/3/2010 10:35:52 PM
Ben Sullivan General Dave, yes the bridge is still standing but it has since been modified with a pedestrian-friendly deck and observation platform built above it. Nearly all of the Georgetown Branch is open as a rail trail. 2/4/2014 12:18:10 PM
Ben Sullivan General FYI, this trestle is in the process of being removed, as of Jan 12, 2019, to make way for the new Purple Line light rail project. The first 5 or 6 bents have already been cut down and removed. The rest is not long for this world. 1/14/2019 4:51:40 PM
