| This locomotive was delivered to Southern Pacific in March 1980 as GP40-2 7673. Upon the UP-SP merger, this diesel was repainted in full UP press and renumbered 5324. During UP's motive power renumbering this EMD got a new number and a second coat of paint with the newer zig-zag scheme. No amount of Armor Yellow can hide the Espee light scar on the nose and rear hood. |
