End Of Track On The GVI  Contributor's Pick!
Here is the end of track on the Union Pacific's ex-Chicago and North Western/exx-Minneapolis & St. Louis Golden Valley Industrial Lead. Past this point the Luce Line Trail takes over the right-of-way. )I took this with my cell phone camera on the spur of the moment, by the way.)

Eric Ecklund General When were the tracks abandoned and ripped up west of this point? 12/21/2014 1:15:36 PM
Tony Held General The tracks west of here were taken up in the early 1970s when the Chicago and North Western cut the line back to this point. The Luce Line Trail occupies the right-of-way west of here. 12/22/2014 4:06:24 PM
