Union Pacific 0-6-0 Class S-5 (cabside Class S-51) 4442 at Council Bluffs, Iowa on an unknown day in February 1958, Kodachrome by Dick Rumbolz, Chuck Zeiler collection. According to utahrails.net, number 4442 was built by Baldwin in April 1918 (c/n 48276) as a coal burner and assigned as the Omaha depot switcher, with chrome-plated cylinder covers, nickel-plated drive rods, and its boiler jacket extended over its smokebox and painted gray; moved to Las Vegas in the late 1930s; donated for exhibition; displayed at Clark County Museum, Henderson, Nevada. |
