I was trying to find this town on the map. I found it. Where is this Honey creek located on this line. How long was this line in operation?

Honey Creek is directly across the Des Moines River. The CR&MR built this line reaching Council Bluffs in 1867. Kate Shelley saved the train in 1881. The new high bridge to the north was finished in 1900. My notes say they quite using this line in 1925 and it was approved for abandonment at the end of 1930. Kate Shelley Park in Moingona has a depot and RI passenger car 319 NARCISSUS (Budd '41).

USGS quads at terraserver-usa.com clearly show the original line.
