These are PCF 62" insulated box cars, better known as "Beer Cars". They were owned by the Manufacturers Railway Co. The railroad was owned by Anheuser Busch Brewing in St. Louis, MO. The railroad served the brewery as well as industrial customers along the riverfront in St. Louis. Anheuser Busch sold the railroad to Foster Townsend Rail Logistics (FTRL) almost 3 years ago. FTRL sold the "Beer Cars" to Midwest Rail Car (MWCX). FTRL still uses most of the Manufacturers Railway Co. locomotives (switchers). They may be found up and down the riverfront on the St. Louis side. These "Beer Cars" may be found all over the country.

Correction: They are 62' not 62" as previously noted. Sorry.
