This is a 1910 Baldwin built Pacific logo, a Frisco class 1015 member. It had 60" drivers and generated a modest 160 psi for its 26"x28" cylinders. The engine weight was 212,000 lb and it could produce 37,307 lb tractive effort. The Firsco shops rebuilt the class to boost the psi to 200 and increased the tractive effort of 39,736 lb. The class was "dismissed from service" between May 31, 1949 to December 11, 1957. James Bowie Jr photo |
