GN 1096         
Great Northern Railway 1096 at Saint Paul, Minnesota on May 22, 1984, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 1096 was built by Pullman-Standard as C&NW 3453, renumbered to 801 in 1959. In 1963 it was sold to the GN, becoming 1096 then to BN 5632 in 1970. It was leased to Amtrak for Twin Cities to Duluth Arrowhead service, later going to the Minnesota Transportation Museum.
