DRI&NW Depot Moline, IL
The west and south sides of the DRI&NW depot at Moline, IL on 27 Jun. '14. The depot was built in 1900. Purchased by Frank Foundry Co. for office space in 1934. Purchased by City of Moline in 1994 for use as visitor center. It would have to be demolished or moved when a new bridge is built. A group has raised enough money to move it a short distance down the road so it can be saved. More information can be found at http://www.savethemolinedepot.com/Depot-History.html.

Richard Hopfensperger General It would be a shame to lose this structure to the wrecking ball. It's a good thing some people work to save such things. 7/8/2014 9:43:57 PM
