| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 4-6-2 Class S-2-A 2903 at Lincoln, Nebraska on January 31, 1954, photographer unknown, print by Tom Klinger, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 2903 was built by Baldwin in 1910 (c/n 34514) as a class S-2, rebuilt by the CB&Q in 1925 to class S-2-A, sold for scrap in December 1954. I have not figured out what is at the bottom of the stack, looks like paper or a hat, it's on the print, and it's not dirt. |
