Wow, look at this photo. This photo tells a story. Both of these containers were manufactured by CIMC, and you have one of the oldest, and one of the newest containers together. Top container 230509 was one of the very first steel China containers that J B Hunt purchased. It was built in March 2006, and the China containers start at 230500. The bottom container 290842 was built a few months ago, in April. Also, as you can see, both of these containers have the Intermodal lettering. But, looking at the very front of these containers, you can tell that the 230509 had the lettering applied after it was built. The way to tell is that it doesn't have the Intermodal lettering on the front like the 290842 has. Which means that the 290842 had the lettering applied to it when it was brand new at the factory, where the 230509 didn't. The Intermodal lettering first started with some of their trailers, and at the time the lettering was red. A little while later, the lettering was changed to green
