Isn't this the same bridge that went out earlier this year?

The bridge that went out in 2007 was on the UP (ex-M&StL). The Milwaukee had their own line through Chaska -- it started in Hastings and went west/northwest to Cologne to rejoin the mainline towards the Pacific.

this bridge is located about 1/2 mile to the north of the Chaska river crossing. Today, you can see this bridge hidden in the trees just on the river side of the Chaska Levee behind the Carver County courthouse. From this vantage point, you are looking directly south from Chaska toward the swing bridge which you can see in the distance in the other photo. From this vantage point, the Carver County courthouse is directly behind you and a little to your left.
