| This RR line may set a record for ownership changes. After abandonment by Tennessee Central in 1968, the line has been operated by ICG; Nashville & Ashland City; Cheatham County Rail Authority; Walking Horse & Eastern; McCormick, Ashland City & Nashville; and the Central of Tennessee Rwy & Navigation. Eventually, the line found stability with the Nashville & Western, which is owned by Nashville & Eastern, over on the east side of town. |
