| There was an hour or so in the late afternoon when there were no westbound trains scheduled, and the LIRR Main Line from Queens to Mineola was tutned into a couble barrel shotgun, with trains running east on both tracks. The train on the left is an Oyster Bay train, which will take the branch at Nassau after making its Mineola&stop. The train on the right is a local to Hicksville, making all stops, starting at Floral Park, the only eastbound Main Line train to do so. It was set up so that the Oyster Bay train would pass the local, cross over, and there would be time to restore the plant at Nassau before the local was due to leav{.
