| Here is a rare photo of the American Sheet & Tin Plate Co 0-6-0 switcher #41 taken by Thomas Lawson, Jr. Built by the H. K. Porter Inc in September of 1026, this small switcher served the American Sheet & Tin in Gary, IN until being sold to the Texaco Co on April 29, 1937, just a few months after this shot was taken. This site does not show a listing for a straight 0-6-0 switcher under Porter, hence the 0-6-0T classification. |
