| 30 units of class 420 are refurbished and modified for over 1 Mio $ each. They are used for heavy rush hours shuttle trains at Zurich metropolitan area. Always four units are in different stages at the shop, allready 22 went back to operation. This modification gives another 20+ years of service life for those 30 - 50 year old locomotives. |
