These locomotives are a model CK5 built by Ziyang Locomotive of China, this one number 4 in the series. So far the type is unique to TPI. The series was built in 1995 and are diesel hydraulic, powered by a 690hp. Cummins KT 38L diesel, and weigh 60 tons. This is one of a very few private rail operations in Thailand. |
