The last coach from the former Morris County Central Railroad still stands on display at the second sight of the operation. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the MCC beginning operations out of Whippany, NJ on the Morristown & Erie Railroad. This former CNJ commuter coach, built in 1915, carried many tourists over the years behind steam locomotives 385 and 4039, the latter currently under restoration back to operating condition by the Whippany Railway Museum. |
