The Adirondack rolls away onto the D&H, having departed the Schenectady station. The track to the left is former NYC and heads down the Mohawk Valley toward Utica and Buffalo. It carries primarily Amtrak trains. There may have been Conrail local service on it at the time of the photo. All through freight used the Selkirk Branch, which joined the Chicago Line at CP 169 near Amsterdam. |
