| Massive 1920 Alco-Schenectady articulated, originally built for Verde Tunnel & Smelter but sold to Southern Pacific in 1943 along with its sister loco #3931 to operate on Beaumont Hill near Los Angeles. Specifics - class MM-3, 57" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x32" high pressure cylinders (2) and 37x32" low pressure cylinders (2), engine wieght of 447,000 lb, tractive effort of 82,623 lb.
