Seldom seen signal  Contributor's Pick!
Actually, I used to see it all the time. Signal 216-2, the distant signal for CP Johnson, was easy to see, just hard to photograph. You could see it from the NY 201 overpass to the west, but stopping there to take a picture was out of the question due to traffic. This was a walk in from the old Broad St crossing. I wish I had done it a little more often. The offset lights were a peculiarity of northeastern railroading not seen much in other parts of the country. HAN 1X passes on its way to Buffalo.
