AMTK 156 Powers the Heartland Flyer  Contributor's Pick!
Amtrak train No. 822, the northbound Heartland Flyer, rolls by Intermodal Parkway and the American Airlines hangar at the Alliance, TX airport. This train is making its daily run between Fort Worth, TX and Oklahoma City, OK. Soon this track alignment will be severed to allow for runway expansion and these shots will not longer be possible. With NPCU cab-control car AMTK 90222 leading the consist, the treat is on the rear as the train is powered by Phase I heritage unit AMTK 156.
