Awaiting rebirth.  Contributor's Pick!
TP&W 801 sits outside the M&E shop, its front pilot removed. M&E acquired both TP&W C 424's, putting them into service as their 18 and 19 once they had gotten some attention at the shop. In an era where Alcos were dropping rapidly, it was good to see a couple back on the road. Jersey was a good place to be in that regard at the time. NYSW had also returned a number of them to the ranks of the living, including five C 430's, out of only 16 built.
