Oyster Bay trains in the off hours tended to have light ridership. This resulted in them having short consists, and often had MP 15s for power, rather than the GP 38s that most of the other lines saw for power. An Oyster Bay train is rolling east at New Hyde Park as it makes its way to its next stop in Mineola.
