West into the sun  Contributor's Pick!
A westbound Babylon train rolls into the late day sun as it heads for Jamaica and Penn Station. Note the PRR style pedestal position light signal. It is showing a stop indication. These were unique to the PRR and affiliates. It was like a dwarf, but on a pole for better visibility. The indications were read as if on a dwarf signal. Two lights vertical would be a "slow clear" indication.
