One that got away Part 1         
Story here is #33 was the last full Baldwin at the Geneva Works. Here she sits on the interchange track to a scrapyard in Ogden. Literally in sight of this is the Utah Railway Museum at Ogden Union Station. I called them, and to say they were disinterested would be an understatement. So, poor 33 was cut up a couple of weeks later. If I'd just had some money (I was right out of college and really broke)........

John Schumann General Hate to say this, but I can confirm their attitude hasn't changed. A USAF Baldwin S12 was cut up at Hill AFB 6 months ago, nearly within sight of the Utah Rwy Museum, and they did....nothing. 8/13/2016 5:51:55 PM
