From its founding in 1883 until 26 Jun. '13, the Kaukauna paper mill was Thilmany Pulp and Paper Co. (a.k.a. Thilmany, LLC or Thilmany Papers). The piles of rubble are remnants of the old Thilmany mill, which was mostly demolished in 2013. Part of the original mill was saved and will be restored (out of frame to right). |
