| Former Grand Trunk Western Railway 4-6-2 Class K-4-a 5629 at Blue Island, Illinois on July 12, 1982, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 5629 was built by Alco in 1924, acquired by Dick Jensen in 1959, and ran on several steam fantrips. It is pictured with the ex-Soo Line 4-8-2 tender which Mr. Jensen used to replace the original GTW/Alco tender. In the late 1970's Mr. Jensen was suffering from poor health, and 5629 was stored in Rock Island's Blue Island roundhouse. After the Rock was abandon in the 1980's the Blue Island property was sold to METRA who wanted the locomotive moved, and after much legal dispute, 5629 was scrapped.
