LIRR 2907
Built by Pullman Standard in 1955 for Long Island Railroad commuter service, this car lasted on passenger trains until the 1980's. It was later converted to MOW work spreading Sandite along the rails to prevent trains from slipping. Later retired by the MTA, it was acquired by the Twin Forks Chapter NRHS which is currently restoring it at the Railroad Museum of Long Island.
