Honey Bees
As a part of building the new station, the construction company needed to remove the brick veneer that was placed by a Law firm in 1979, over the retaining wall on each side of the old station ticket office. When they put the brick up, it covered up the windows in womens lounges on each side. Over the years of sugar transloading ajacent to the station, Honey Bees started visiting. And, it seems they built a nest in the window void behind the brick. Well, Friday, the wall started coming down and here is the bee hive that was found. I dont know how many millions of bees there are in this picture. The hive and bees were removed by a bee keeper the next morning. And, no! we didnt get any of the honey!
