HAN 2 in the yard  Contributor's Pick!
IF the NYSW did not have a crew ready, Conrail would not let the train stay on the Tier, and NYSW had to stow it in a yard. This was done either on the Utica Branch, or at East Binghamton, depending on operational needs. Today, the choice is East Binghamton, and we see a HAN 2 pulling down to Terrace Drive behind a pair of NS units. When the NYSW crew is on, they will back out through BD and head east.
