| Obviously this 1918 Alco-Brooks Santa Fe type 2-10-2 locomotive has reached the point of no return. According to SteamLocomotives.com "Even with 63" drivers, [they] had counterbalancing problems and were limited to 30 mph. Later refitting with disk drivers ameliorated the pounding." After nearly 28 years of service, the loco was retired and scrapped in March of 1941.
