C1899. - Number 40 on the Skowhegan Branch - so says the notes on the back of the print... MEC Class D was origionally – The Skowhegan – back when locomotives were given names in the good old days. Built by the Taunton Locomotive Manufacturing Co. in May of 1871 it was scrapped by the MEC in Sept of 1900. CYL:16x24 with 62 inch drivers. /DL |
