BN #2220
A trio of former Burlington Geeps (GP30 #2220, GP35s #2536 and #2545) lead a manifest southbound on Main 1 of the Seattle Sub, having just passed King Street Station, which is out of frame to the left. Seen above and behind the string of boxcars is Union Station, which had closed the previous year with the start of Amtrak. At King Street, this train changed from running westbound on the Scenic Sub to running southbound on the Seattle Sub. Behind the ex-CB&Q power is a leased Cotton Belt GP35 and an ex-SP&S Alco C425. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodak-processed Kodachrome 35mm slide. Date is approximate.
