In June and July of 1976 Dads B&B crew was working at Morley, TN and on three occasions Dad got to ride along with the crew of the Clairfield Local in the afternoon after his work crew had finished for the day. The Clairfield Local worked the Trevilion Branch, which was a joint L&N/Southern line from Morley, TN to Fonde, KY. L&N locals originated out of Lafollette or Morley while Southern locals originated out of Jellico, TN. On June 8, 1976 Dad took this shot of L&N C420s 1309 and 1322 (ex-Monon 505) switching the Copper-Glo tipple at Clairfield, TN. |
