| MNCR. Here is an original photo that I took of a Metro-North Commuter Railroad train in Larchmont, New York, on 19 July 1985. Shown here (L to R) are FL-9 engines #2025 and #2023. They are pulling a six-car commuter train from Grand Central Terminal toward Stamford, Connecticut. Note the New Haven-style catenary, which has since been replaced by pulleys and weights. Note, too, another train approaching on Track 4. |
