| CN local crosses Edna Ave. and passes Anchor Castings, Inc., 223 Edna Ave., Neenah, WI, as it heads southwest via the formerly joint MILW/SOO rails on 12 Jun. '16. Neenah Brass Works was organized on 1 Jul. 1905 to make screen plates, brass and bronze castings. They moved to this site ca. ’08. At some point the name changed to Neenah Brass & Aluminum, Inc. BLC Enterprises, Inc., purchased the facility in Feb. ’94 and operated it as Neenah Brass & Aluminum Foundry. A new owner purchased the facility in ‘06. At some point the name was changed to Anchor Castings. The 1893 C&NW Neenah-Menasha depot is visible in the background at the east end of Edna Ave. |
