Coaling Tipple. Here is an original photo that I took of the Pennsylvania Railroad's coaling tipple in East Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 11 September 1965. Here is another view facing northeast. At the left is PRR locomotive #7011, an EFS-17M built by EMD in 1955 and rated at 1,750 horsepower.
