| Spruce Creek. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad property in Spruce Creek, Pennsylvania, on 10 July 1965. Shown here is a topside view of the State Route 45 tunnel under the railroad tracks. The painted sign on the concrete indicates: 214/85. The yellow house across the tracks sits on Station Lane, perhaps where the PRR Station once stood. This is a westward-facing view of the 3-track mainline heading to Altoona and Pittsburgh. The other way, the tracks head to Huntingdon, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia. |
