| Bellwood. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train at Pinecroft ~ just west of Bellwood, Pennsylvania ~ on 26 June 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #2249, #2229, and #2206. All are EF-22's built by EMD in 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. They are pulling a 160-car eastbound mixed-cargo freight train with caboose #477243. Photo taken at the Riggle's Gap Bridge. |
