Huntingdon. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train East of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, during October of 1965. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #5710, #5859, and another "EP" Class unit whose number is not recorded. All were built by EMD. #5710 is an EP-22 built in 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #5859 is an EP-20 built in 1948 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. They are pulling a westbound refrigerator-car express train up a straight stretch of track in the Juniata River Valley. |
