MBSE 92492 Caboose, Clive IA
MBSE 92492 Caboose, unfortunately there is little information on the origins of this unit; the Clive Historical Society states this was purchased from Norfolk Southern at the time of the Depot negotiation (possibly early 1990s) but no dates are give; MBSE is likely the road name for Middleboro-Selkirk, a freight line serviced by Conrail, meaning this could have been part of the Conrail liquidation; however, that would put this into the later 1990s and does not necessarily line up with the disappearance of cabooses through the 1980s; comment if you have more solid stats, otherwise Ill leave this as an open mystery until then; Clive IA
