This building was the original depot in West Chicago for the Aurora Branch Railroad, later the Chicago and Aurora Railroad, still later the CB&Q. The town was known as Turner, named for John B. Turner, president of the Chicago Chicago & Galena Union Railroad, later, the C&NW. |
