| PGH-ALT-63. Here is an original photo that I took while riding in a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train from Pittsburgh to Altoona on 08 September 1963. Shown here is PRR engine #7234, an EFS-17M built by EMD in 1959 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. It is the lead unit in an on-coming/westbound mixed-cargo freight train near Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
