| Winter. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 03 January 1965. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #7160, #7020, and #7045. All are EFS-17M's built by EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each; #7160 was built in 1957, but #7020 and #7045 were built in 1955. They are about to pass under the 7th Street Bridge with a 21-car westbound mixed-cargo freight train with N-8 caboose #478135. |
