Everyday. Here is the second of two successive original photos that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 3 September 1964. Shown here is PRR engine #8627, a BS-18M built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1957 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. It is pulling a 13-car mixed-cargo freight train over the Juniata River Railroad Bridge and will skirt the Hollidaysburg Yards on its way to Bedford, Pennsylvania, and points South. The cabin car is #477746. |
