| Missouri Pacific U23B 4528 was with three geeps in the railroad's Avondale Yard, just west of New Orleans. The 4528 was one of seven MP General Electric units equipped with EMD cabs after their original cabs were damaged beyond easy repair. The railroad had spare EMD cabs available, and as an added benefit, they provided more headroom than GE cabs. |
