| CN local crosses N. Oneida St. as it heads northeast via former C&NW rails at Appleton, WI on 13 Nov. '16. One of the C&NW's 3 Appleton depots stood to the left, on the south (right) side of the tracks between N. Appleton St. and N. Oneida St. The downtown depot closed ca. 1958 and passenger operations were concentrated at the Appleton Junction depot. The building in the background is Oneida Heights, an apartment complex for seniors. Train was headed for Little Chute and Kaukauna. |
