This area of the lake was a popular spot amongst the ice fishers. Just out of frame on both sides are several additional shanties and groups of faithful fishermen. My shots from this spot were cut short by a Toyota Tacoma that drove right in front of me at an exaggeratedly slow pace. Apparently its occupants couldn't wait one more minute to spend the next several hours on the ice. Perhaps the driver was thick enough to think that I walked to the middle of the lake because I wanted a picture of his ugly mug sticking out of his %$@*^# truck. Oh well - a cold reminder that manners (and lack thereof) are learned traits, and some people are just immune to common courtesy. |
